Colors TV is the only GEC which managed to sustain it self with new programming and reality shows on the channel.
We went in a deep conversation with a Colors official regarding the promos of certain shows not being shown and a season 3 possibility of Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2.
1. Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2
Air timing : 9:30pm
Air days : Mon-FriHe replied in a rather diplomatic way and said,”The show has been under performing and the production house tried all possable ways to grip more viewers with some small tracks.We are waiting for more time and will be releasing few promos for the show soon.
We queried him about protest regarding a season 3 with only Kunal Karan Kapoor and Aakanksha Singh and no parallel leads.
He replied,”The fans of the show brought it back on air for a season 2 and Colors TV saw the power of the fan base of the show.But this time if Colors TV agrees,will the actors agree to come back for the same show again is a question as the actors namely Kunal and Aakanksha have to experiment with their career and they can’t be stuck to Colors TV forever.”
We asked them if the fans are reluctant for a season 3,”We can’t say a no to our viewers so if there is a revolt in huge of sort we will definitely try to convince the actors to stay back for the season 3 of the show.We are not guaranteeing it but depends on the actors , fans and production house.”
Are you’ll partial in the promotion of Na Bole Tum?
He replied,”For so many weeks we released promos but now we have to pay attention to other shows on the channel.”
2. Bani Ishq Da Kalma
Air days : Mon- Fri
Air time : 10:30pmWe quizzed him about the show under performing ?
He answered , “The show has just started and soon Bani’s NRI bride fiasco will start and the show has been performing well and we have received positive feedback about the show.”
3. Sanskaar Darohar Apno Ki Hai
Air days : Mon-Fri
Air time : 9pmWe quizzed him regarding the show Sanskaar being a copy of shows tried before ?
He replied,”The show is a refreshed family show with some new twist rather than the Saas Bahu dramas.”
4 . Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon
Air day : Mon-Sat
Air time : 8:30pmWe quizzed him about the dipping TRPs of the show.
He replied,”Yes the show has seen a all time dip and Colors TV is working to promote the show.”
Majority of viewers blame Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi) for the dip?
He replied,”We are working to find a nice ending to the drama but Sultan is the central character which can revolve new changes in the show.So we will not be ending the character so soon but we can keep him permanently in the show and find a better conclusion to the current drama.”
At the end,we asked him why newly launched shows failed on Colors TV?
He said in a slight annoyed tone,”It will take time for shows to connect but what upsets us is that Na Bole Tum having a second season is still stuck in its averages and isn’t come up yet either.While other shows being new are some how managing to get better TRPs for Colors.”

Sultan rocks and he is the best part of the show just love his scenes its too beautiful. The other part of the show sucks- stupid romance for brainless ppl and trp fans are nt as brainless as i thought. This show needs to change the storyline its like i am watching 2 seperate shows 1 part is awesome other part is boring and i just hear bakwas all the time from that rk and madhu and madhu is very unnatural. The producers, writers of the show need to stop catering to both fan grps and start giving a proper story. Not 1 week sultan, next week rk its destroying the show. The reason why the trps down is coz they where showing the 2 old ladies along with madhu. Its nt sultan who is eating up the screen time its those 3. Focus on the 2 hotties and if u hav to bring in vomit girl(madhu) as well. Its the 3 of them which brings in viewers.

Na bole tum na maine kuch kaha has gained a cult status. And I has a niche following. For us non tv viewer’s who were starved for a good decent n entertaining story.. nbtnmkk was a blessing from heaven. This serial cmpelled me to start watching television again. Superb n nuanced performance by kunal karan kapoor, aakansha singh , anshoor , dushyant n all characters of sn1 hv made such an imprint on us. The serial, the characters n d simplicity of d presentation wl nvr b forgotten by all viewers. Its colors who is responsible fr the numbers not speaking. The step motherly treatment of nbt was noticed from season 1. The simplicity disappeared n we viewers were left grappling in shock. The biggest diaster the makers n colors did was by introducing a leap n characters in s2 which didn’t connect with d audience at all.nbt is still going great guns. We will ensure dat nbt season 3 cmes. With kunal karan kapoor n akansha as a lead. It will be a brand new story. We fns will ensure our wishes are complied with

The reason I continue to watch MEIEJ is because of Sultan. He’s the only character on this show that is strong, honest, kind, consistent and respectful of others. Sultan is a good example for others to follow. We need more characters that are not manipulative, arrogant, egotistic and psychotic in these serials. People do identify with these characters and some even try to emulate their favourite character/actor. Avinesh Rekhi is doing an amazing job in his portrayal of Sultan. Hope to see more of him in the coming episodes.

The trp of the show MAdhubala is down only bcoz of Rk-Madhu ki fake chemistry as they has lost their charm ……& yes dont blame Sultan for all this & dare to call him sadakchaap……Sultan ‘s character is much more powerful thaN anyone and he potrays that in such an amazing ways , he is truely a personified actor and i started watching the show only bcoz of Sultan …….& want to thank CV’s for making him permanent in the show bcoz it is really a good decision for the show bcoz RK -MADHU ki marriage kawakar to show ki band baj gae thi……….Sultan’s bonding with his son aryan is just a treat to watch and yes his bonding with his mom meera is truely amazing ., which altogether makes hIM (SULTAN) the “BEST FATHER”as well as “BEST SON”………..just luv him and his character ……..AVINESH as Sultan ROCKKSSSSSSS…………..!

I’m loving Sultan and is the only reason I watch Madhubala! Rishbala have lost their charm. The USP of the show was their hatred for each other. I can’t stand their bathroom romance — looks so fake and forced! They made the biggest mistake by going ahead with the Rishbala wedding and SR. There is nothing left in their story. Bring on more Sultan!!

I watch meiej only for Sultan. And this track is good.. I started watching ths show bcoz of DD and her character Madhu. But madhu lost her charm when she acceptd Rk’s proposal… Avinesh and Drashti has got an amazing chemistry,that i wished Sulbala wud happen. But i love this current track and Sultan is just awesome..

I really do not think colors TV really listens to viewers , if they would have then MBEIEJ would not have been in current state as it is today, how much feedback viewers gave but no one listened, makers, chanels–no-one listened .Biggest mistake was revenge track & then love traingle with Sultan angle, In such passionate love story love triangle does not gel, also showing RK so negative everytime & Sultan positive also did not make sense. If makers leave core of this story as love story of RK-Madhu & show their bond strong , I think this show will gain its lost glory back–rest characters need to be viewed around the fabric of RK-Madhu love story. People cannot watch so much sadness & un-realistic twists.
