Indian Television has evolved over the pass years with new content and social shows which are launched for the betterment of the society.

Daily soaps contain all human emotions but only few shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir ,Diya Aur Baati Hum,Balika Vadhu,Yes Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and many more soaps but only few soaps manage to strike a chord.

IPKKND-EBP has taken a bold step as the show was supposed to be a pure romantic show but now some changes have been made to show Aastha’s character strong who will try to break the male dominance around her and will be successful.

Aastha at any cost won’t perform the ritual in which she will have to consume the water in which Shlok’s legs was washed. This initiative to introduce this track was by Star Plus who is trying to bring the show in it’s Nayi Soch category.

Shrenu Parikh said,”I am happy as an actor and a human also as we are promoting woman empowerment.”

So don’t forget to watch Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir on Star Plus at 6pm.

  1. Sorry, but what is the point in creating a fictitious ritual like Pati pujan (no search engine yielded any result on this practice), and then show the female lead repudiating it? If the channel really wants to show empowerment, how about taking up some real and existing practices and then showing the courage to fight them? Or doesn’t the channel have the spine to do that? Star Plus should really think about giving its tagline “Nayi Soch” some real “soch” first.
