Anil Kapoor’s 24 to be treated as a feature film by Colors TV and following the same innovative advertising strategy’s , Colors TV has tied up with Madras Cafe to promote Anil Kapoor’s mega show in theatre screens in India.
The show’s director, Abhinay Deo, says the trailer deserves a big-screen launch because “even though 24 is a TV show, it is being treated like a feature film.”
He adds, “Everything about it is in the zone of a film. It’ll be like an hour-long movie that the audience will get to watch every week. The storytelling, (sequences that have been shot at) real locations (in Mumbai), action, cast and the look of the show, will hopefully set new standards for television in India.”
Featuring on the channel Colors, this is one of the most expensive shows ever produced for the Indian small screen and is shot in various places in Mumbai like Cotton Green, Sewri and Worli Fishermen’s Wharf and Manori. While the show will have a strong cast to boast about, this series will be directed by Abhinay Deo.
